- Complete your profile guestKo is a community built on trust. We want both our guests and our hosts to feel comfortable and that starts with getting to know each other. That’s why the first step is completing your secure profile (we recommend you include a clear photo of yourself). This allows your potential host to know a bit about you when you’re ready to book.
- Search for the perfect place to stay This step is all about the filters which narrow your search options and get you the best results. Don’t forget to include your vacations dates and number of guests. Read reviews, descriptions, house rules, and amenities to see if the accommodations fit your trip. You can always contact the host if you have any questions about their home.
- Book it! It’s time to make your getaway a reality. You’ll be offered one of three booking options, depending on your host:
Request to Book: The majority of hosts will want to approve your reservation. They have 24 hours to check out your profile and accept your request. Once accepted, your reservation is automatically confirmed.
Instant Book: Just click and confirm. Automatic booking, approval and confirmation. For qualified guests, when available.
Pre-approvals and Special Offers
Use this option if you prefer to contact the host with questions before booking. The host may offer a pre-approved booking or Special Offer. This option is available through the guestKo message system.
- Once your booking is approved, your payment will be processed. You will receive contact information for your host and have the ability to communicate directly. Your host will send you check-in and entry information for your stay. guestKo charges guests a low processing fee of 8% per reservation depending on Guest status. The more established and well-reviewed the Guest, the lower the fee.
